PFAS Pilot Trials

EI Australia Completes Pilot Trials for PFAS Soil Washing Unit

EI Australia has successfully completed pilot trials for its PFAS soil washing unit on the Central Coast of NSW. This innovative system utilises ethanol as a solvent, significantly reducing liquid waste compared to traditional water-based soil-washing processes.

The trial aimed to determine the optimal conditions for key process parameters, paving the way for a site-specific, full-scale version of the system to be designed, built, and commissioned on-site. This marks a significant step forward in PFAS remediation efforts.
